On July 14, 2015, our first six young Ospreys from Scotland arrived at Geneva airport, accompanied by Osprey expert Roy Dennis. After having their first Swiss meal (fresh fish kindly offered by two Lake Geneva fishermen), they were brought by car to their new home and reintroduction site in the Canton of Fribourg. They were welcomed by an exceptional heat wave, but despite this they have adapted very well to their new environment. As taking care of Ospreys requires permanent attention from the project team, we will do our best to provide updates here as regularly as possible. In the meantime, for more information please see our first press release (also available in French and in Spanish). We will make links to the media (for the moment here are some stories in French, German and Portuguese).
